The Use That You Never Cut Loose

05 Mar 2010 | Category: risk-management | Author: admin

In life and in business, there are always risks. This is the use that you never cut loose: Use persistence, no matter what the obstacle. That may sound simple. But when faced with big problems and even failure, it never is. The power of persistence is simple in concept, but never simple to apply. Especially when you have to start over again after a temporary failure from zero or negative somewhat. Think about it, but if you do persist no matter what, you will succeed if you really do genuinely want to. Sure, the persistence factor is the most powerful thing you can use. But, there is a catch: It has to be used strategically and rationally. For example, a ninety pound weakling cannot play tackle football on a pro playing field without rational preparation, workouts and the like. That is part of my point. So, in life and in business, there are rational risks that ultimately work out with rational efforts working in a rational direction, the rational direction is genuinely rational winning. I know, I am using the word "rational" a lot. But I am using that word, because it is the ultimate catch in using the use that you never cut loose. You have to take rational risks where returns are genuinely possible to get any positive return. Rational and realistic in this case are the same basic thing. Realism is understanding limitations and what you can genuinely do. Unrealistic expectations are the ultimate cheating scheme that never works. Think about it before you go on to the next paragraph.

The fact is, if you have realistic expectations of life and the way existence works, it will not take eons of evolution to beat the cheating gene. With effort, you can beat it now, where you are, by being genuinely realistic in all dealings in life and existence. That is it. With rational, realistic, honest effort, it may take time, but you can make yourself wise, intelligent and all of the desirably important things in life and existence. A winner is not born, a winner is made over time, temporary failures and patience, no luck of the beginner involved. Repeat winners have experience and have failed many times before their string of successes and wins. That is also part of my point. The other part of my point is, with all the getting, get understanding of how to win, because the know how is also part of the key to productive experience with failure and winning.

Sure, temporary failure always comes before genuine permanent success. But, consider this: Depending on winning at the beginning, even if you do initially win leads to failure when you try to duplicate your "flash in the pan" because of the lack of experience and knowledge or know how to succeed permanently and deservedly. Sure, to mention an example of what I am talking about, how about those "lucky" lottery winners. Sure they win lots of money quickly, but most of them end up poor unless they are already on the somewhat well to do side or rich and know already what to do with the money through their innate experiences with money. The saying "thinking good is being good" does not just come out of a vacuum. Poverty comes from a lack of understanding of how reality works even in a rudimentary sense. Genuine riches come from full context understanding and rational working action upon that understanding. As long as you take the easy way out, life is tough. The so called hard way is the real easy way. Let me explain before I end this article, trying to cheat and fool your own mind is always the "easy" way. Working with reality in the fullest and most honest sense is always the "hard" way. I use those definitions in the last two sentences because of the way reality works, cheating reality is always viewed as the easy way, living by reality is always viewed as hard. Reality and persistence, no matter what is the use you never cut loose. Reality and persistence in that order. Sure it is hard, but if you do not have it, you do not have it. That is another reality that needs to be faced. Winners make themselves winners, losers make themselves losers. If that is not reality, then nothing counts in existence, and everything is silly. We know that is not reality. Reality is an individual proposition like persistence, you either do it or you do not. Choice, action and persistence upon that action are the ultimate powers of consciousness.
